Dashboard Overview
The Pulse Dashboard is your central command center for understanding user experience across your entire product. It surfaces what matters — degraded interactions, affected user segments, and revenue at risk — so you can act before issues compound.
Key Screens
Home
The home screen provides a real-time snapshot of your product's experience health:
- Active interactions with their current Apdex scores and error rates
- Recent anomalies flagged by Pulse's detection engine
- Affected user count across all active regressions
- Revenue at risk — the projected dollar impact of open issues
Interactions
The core of Pulse. Every critical user journey is represented as an interaction with its own performance dashboard. See Managing Interactions for details.
Session Explorer
Browse and replay individual user sessions. Filter by device, OS, region, error type, or interaction outcome. See Session Replay for details.
Heatmaps
Visualize where users tap, scroll, and encounter friction. See Heatmaps for details.
PulseAI
Ask natural-language questions about your experience data and get instant, evidence-backed answers. See PulseAI for details.
Alerts
Configure and manage real-time alerts for interaction regressions. See Alerting for details.
Navigation
The left sidebar provides access to all major sections. The top bar shows:
- Time range selector — Control the analysis window (last 1h, 24h, 7d, 30d, or custom)
- Environment filter — Switch between production, staging, or custom environments
- App version filter — Narrow data to specific releases
Dimension Filters
Most dashboard views support filtering by real-world conditions:
| Dimension | Examples |
|---|---|
| Device | Samsung Galaxy S24, iPhone 15, Pixel 8 |
| OS Version | Android 14, iOS 17.2 |
| Region | Country, state, city |
| Network | ISP, carrier, connection type (WiFi/4G/5G) |
| App Version | v4.2.1, v4.2.0 |
| Custom Attributes | User tier, experiment variant, feature flag |
These filters apply globally and can be combined to isolate specific user segments.
